Drupal Website

I use Drupal plenty for work, with much frustration. Most of the frustration is built upon me not knowing what's available to me, alongside restrictions that came along with a system built before me. So I thought to myself, why don't I just do it myself? So I've been working on writing custom CSS and JS for my own Drupal site built with minimal extensions. I want to avoid using too many outside dependencies, which so far has been successful. A main goal of mine is to actually build a site that is useable by people who aren't involved in the coding side of the site, just like a regular professional production website. I'm hoping this leads to a usable interface for my code and art-inclined friends who do not already have a platform for this who would otherwise need to pay for the space.
